POOLE QUAY MOTORCYCLE EVENT
2025 dates to be confirmed
Bike Night (previously known as Dream Machines) is a weekly event taking place on Tuesday nights.
This popular event draws bikers from all over the country coming to show off their beautiful machines, meet up with fellow enthusiasts and compete for “Bike of the night” (award provided by MUC-OFF), which is judged by a different representative from a local business or sponsor each week. The last Bike Night (8th Oct) will see a presentation of all of the Bike of the Night winners along The Quay and will produce to Bike of the Year by public vote. The winner of the Bike of the Year will receive a £500 cash prize with two further runner up prizes. There will also be a cheque presentation on the same evening to this year’s chosen charity DocBike.
Poole Quay is closed off to all traffic and is taken over by a stream of shiny, gleaming, (and sometimes noisy!) bikes.
The event is free to spectators.
This event really creates a wonderful atmosphere, the quay glistens away as the evening sun bounces off these sparkling machines with both bikers and spectators mingling and having fun.
The local pubs and restaurants offer a great selection of food and drink with many having “bike night” specials and there is often live music.
Even if you have never been interested in bikes before this event really is something else and you can’t help but appreciate the time, effort, care and dedication that these men and women put into their bikes and this event. Plus where else are you going to see rows and rows of gleaming motorbikes? It’s quite an impressive sight!
This event is a great evening out for everyone of all ages, why not pop along and see for yourself!
